Full scope or partial
Not every developer needs a full EPC wrap. Many need one discipline covered fast: the pile driving crew that fell through, the electrical scope nobody bid, the commissioning team that has to be on site the week the equipment lands.
We take turn-key contracts and we take defined packages. The second is often the more honest answer when a schedule is already compressed.
Why schedule slips
The failure mode on distributed and utility-scale solar has moved. Modules arrive. Racking arrives. What derails the schedule is ground conditions that were never properly characterized, and crews that were assumed to be available and were not.
We plan around both: geotechnical reality first, crew commitments second, and a written mobilization date we are willing to be held to.
A date given without these is a guess, and guesses are what blow up schedules.
Talk to engineering
Everything else in a solar project can be negotiated. The energization date usually cannot — especially now, with placed-in-service deadlines attached to credit value. Start there and we will work backwards with you.
